SiteOrigin Button with Vantage Premium

By sboisvert, 9 years ago. Last reply by Andrew Misplon, 9 years ago.

Hello! I added a SiteOrigin Button via Page Builder on a specific page.

I lost all of my content except for the button… when I tried to re-add the text content afterward, I couldn’t save it…

How can I add a SiteOrigin Button through a specific text content?

Thank you!
Sylvie

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Sylvie

Sorry to hear about this hassle.

Page Builder content can only be managed via Page Builder. Additionally, regular page content can’t be managed by Page Builder. So if you need to work in Page Builder start out with a blank page. To manage text content in Page Builder use the Visual Editor widget: http://wordpress.org/plugins/black-studio-tinymce-widget/.

    Hope that helps.

Thank you Andrew! I did some progress but working in Page Builder with 2 widgets, one to create a button and one to create the content, here is my hassle now:

    – I can’t but the button in a specific place within my content. It stays on top of the page and I need to put it between two paragraphs.

Here there a way to place a button wherever I want within a content?

    Thanks again :-)

And to add to my previous post, I also want to add buttons on meta slider slides… is there a way?

    Thank you very much!

Sorry Andrew! I just understood how to insert a button within a text.

In Page Builder, I create text that I end where I want the button to be
Then I go to the widget to insert the button
Then I go back to the widget to create text and so on…

However how do I do it on a slide in the Meta Slider widget? Is it up to you to answer me?

    thanks

    Hi, I Work Here

It’s unfortunately not possible to add widgets that appear over Meta Slider. It’s possible, with Meta Slider free, to add a single overlay image, we cover this method here: https://siteorigin.com/vantage-documentation/slider/. For more advanced sliders that have layers that use HTML you’d need Meta Slider Pro. But to confirm, it’s not possible to add widgets over the slider.
