Site Background

Hi Guys

With the vantage theme, it doesn’t seem to have an option to add a background to the site if i wanted to. I’ve checked the thread – https://siteorigin.com/vantage-documentation/customizations/background-image/ however all i have for options is to change the site title and tagline, or the home page info.

I checked if buying the customisations allow me to upload a background, but it doesn’t mention this anywhere.

Am i able to change the background on the site, and if so where and how? Do i have to upgrade to do this?

    Hi Andy

    Changing the background is only available when using the boxed layout. When you’re using the full width layout the actual page covers the main body background, so it wouldn’t make sense to change that.

    You can add some custom CSS that targets the page container to change its background color/image. This guide should help:

    Alternatively, the premium version of Vantage lets you choose these from the customizer.
