I’m a little unclear on something. With your PageBuilder, is it possible for me to add shortcodes generated from other plugins such as Contact Form 7 and Nimble Portfolio to pages I create with the Page Builder? Thanks!
Shortcodes from other plugins supported?

Hi Mdc2957
You should have no problems using shortcodes in either the text widget or the Visual Editor Widget.
Hope this helps

Thank you for the reply. One other question. I know you say that one can use any theme with the Page Builder, but are there any that you recommend above others? Sometimes trouble arises in the header area with these page builders so just curious what you recommend….
Hi Mdc2957
I should be cheeky and say I would recommend any theme from SiteOrigin, in particular Vantage :)
But to answer your question, I would not be able to recommend any theme. The choice of theme depends on too many factors such as site purpose, personal preference, your customers preference.
The best option would be to find a theme you like and see if it is compatible. We have so far only found a few which have issues, and some of those have been updated to be compatible so….
Hope this helps

thanks for your reply, I tried vantage, but had a lot of trouble with it.. I’m trying to find a theme that will allow me to use a full width image at the top header area, with a big headline over it, and then use the pagebuilder below it as normal, but I can’t seem to find any theme anywhere that will allow me to do that. If you download some of the one page themes like Zerif Lite, you have to use their built in page building template thing. This is all very frustrating. I was hoping the page builder would make things easy, but I think you still need to have a very thorough understanding of everything before you can use one successfully.
Hi Mdc2957
Vantage would be capable of the layout you describe. You can set a Masthead background image in Appearance->Customize->Theme Settings->General. If you use the Site Title option for your headline and leave the tagline empty we can position and size the text with Custom CSS.
Let me know what you think
