scale header pictures

When I post and add a featured image it doesn’t scale to fit the header on my front page on the slider. plus the colours seem darker. Can I do anything to sort this?

    I have put two posts out in the last few days and no one is getting back to me. Can somebody help with these issues. I know they are probably easy questions but I am a novice at this.

    Thanks for the patience. We used a prioritized ordering for support threads which gives higher priority to premium users. We do try answer questions from our free users, but these can take time, depending on our support load – which is quite high at the moment.

    The darker colours in the header image is actually by design, but can you give me a URL of your site so I can have a look at what’s going on?

    Hi Greg,

    I have updated about a month ago to premium but still no response to my list of queries. I know they may be quite simple fixes but I am new at this and hoping to make the most of spending the extra cash.

    Could you please help with my queries that date back sometime.

    Sorry for missing your two threads. I’ve answered the other thread. Can you confirm, are you still battling with this. I’ve read through but am not quite following. If you want to remove the overlay, the dark overlay below your menu you can try the following under Appearance > Custom CSS:

    /* Focus remove slider and single post opacity overlay */

.slider .overlay {
opacity: 0 !important; 
}

#single-header .overlay {
opacity: 0 !important; 
}

    Each post must have a featured image added.

    To get your videos displaying like the site demo: http://demo.siteorigin.com/focus/2013/02/20/ferrari-458/ be sure to add them via the Focus Video plugin which is below the regular Visual editor.
