Rows and Widgets Keep Reappearing

I was using a (horrible) theme called Mono. Page Builder was working ok here.
I’ve since changed to a theme called Fruitful. Page Builder still appears to be working ok however there are a few strange things happening.

– I’ve tried to delete a picture and add a completely different picture. I flush the cache and check. The old picture reappears. The new picture is nowhere to be seen
– I delete the widget, create a new one, add the new picture, old picture reappears
– I delete the row with the widget, create a new row, new widget, add new picture, same old picture appears
– I deleted the old picture form the media store and confirmed it was deleted from the page, added the new picture, tested, old picture reappears
– I deactivate all the main widgets I think might be causing the issue, test, same thing happens
– I try this using the normal view and Page Builder, same thing happens
– I deactivate Page Builder, I loose all the formatting on the page BUT I can add the new picture
– I add the new picture, reactivate Page Builder, an error appears saying that the old picture is missing but it’s still the old picture
– Every time I make a change to the page, before I test, I flush the site cache. I also test in FF and IE. Results are always the same
– In short, no matter what I do the row, the widget, and the picture always reappear
I’ve also turned off all the widgets in the Widget bundle just to eliminate things further
