Resizing Images

Hi – I am using the Tesseract theme and have added a couple of images to my Home page. When I reduce the screen size the images are not resizing accordingly. I have spent hours looking everywhere to see how to achieve this (I realise some CSS code is required). I know that this is a topic that has probably been addressed before (probably many times!) but I can’t seem to find the answer.

I have installed the SiteOrigin CSS Editor so am able to use that if required.

Any help greatly appreciated!

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Gerrynz

    Thanks for reaching out.

We’ve recently worked a few threads with this same challenge. It’s an intermediate level task to resolve. If you’d like to have a go, please, see:

Thread: Page Builder background image won’t rescale for mobile devices
Thread: Pagebuilder Responsive Full Size Image

    Hope that helps :)

Hi Andrew – many thanks for your speedy and helpful response.

I have made great progress and the images now re-size OK. Only 1 issue which I am struggling to resolve:

When I view my site on an iPhone (4) in portrait the full image displays, but when I turn it to landscape mode the bottom portion of the image is truncated. I guess I need to add some CSS to handle this but not sure what that should be.

Thank you in advance for your help.

    Hi again, Andrew.

I figured out how to address the different screen sizes, so please ignore my earlier query. Sorry I didn’t research a bit more before troubling you :o(

    Thanks,
    Gerry
