I have no coding knowledge but I was able to create the hero image using your video (and the widget bundle), I’d like to replace my slider with the hero image (listed under unleashed) and still have my welcome as my static home page. Right now I have a meta slider and then the welcome page set as static using the Influence theme. With out changing my theme how can I make the hero image appear at the top of my home page and still have the welcome appear directly under?

Unfortunately, this isn’t possible without a fair amount of custom coding. This is beyond the scope of what we can help you with on the forums, but you could hire a developer to implement this for you.
We highly recommend using https://codeable.io/.
We also have a new theme coming out called SiteOrigin North, that makes it a lot easier to have a header a lot like Influence that overlaps your content. This means you can just create a page, add a full width row and insert your hero image widget there.
