Remove featured image from Archive Page + Post

I include a Featured Image on my posts for the purpose of social media sharing – I would like the image to populate on Facebook. But I do NOT want it to show on on the category page or the individual post page.

I saw a similar thread here where you suggested pasting a piece of custom CSS in the appearance area, but when I go to Custom CSS I get an error: Your current theme does not have support for the Options Framework plugin.

The picture shows up twice.. I only want the one IN the article, not also above the post title.
