Read more tag doesn’t work

I use the pagebuilder from SiteOrigin for my blog and also have the edit plugin by Black Studio.
When I use the read more tag in that editor in a blogpost it doesn’t work. It shows the full message with […], but doesn’t “cut off” the message on the right spot, so the “summary” of the message is too long.

I hope that makes sense?

    I use Site Origin’s Page Builder, too. After doing some updates i ‘ve the same problem – the “read more” tags doesn’t work anymore. I don’t use page builder in all posts, so i see very fine, that in the other posts the read more tag still works. Changing to normal posts is not in every post possible.

    I use WordPress 4.2.1 with Page Builder from SiteOrigin and the Widgets Bundle Version 2.1.2.

    Solving the problem would be great. ;-)
