Problems with admin part of WordPress with focus theme

10 years ago · Last reply by Anton Berezovskiy 10 years ago

Hi, I’ve been using Focus Premium theme for 8 month, everithing was fine, but now I have problems with my WordPress admin panel:
1. I can’t edit posts. When I click to edit, it leads to almost blank page (subject of the page “Edit Post”, favicon and page background color are loading).
2. I can’t edit widgets from WordPress admin.

In error log I have some errors like “WordPress database error Illegal mix of collations”
Another my site with Focus theme is running on the same server and works fine. I’ve copied all of the Focus theme files from there, but nothing happen, still the same problems.
When I’m switching to another theme (2013 by WordPress) – everything works fine.

Maybe there is a problem in the settings of Focus theme? How can I fix this?
Thank you.

problems was solved by deleting line 423 register_widget( ‘SiteOrigin_Widgets_IconText’ ); in file focus/extras/widgets/widgets.php
Probably something wrong with focus theme widget “Icon + text”
