Problem with TinyMCE and PageBuilder

10 years ago · Last reply by Magus 10 years ago

Hi

After upgrading to the latest versions, I’m having trouble using the TinyMCE widget with PageBuilder. If I add the widget with no title (as I always did before), I get this error “Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘2’ of null” and I’m unable to click “done” or the X in the top right corner.

If I do add a title, I am able to close the box but now I get an error called “Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘canvas’ of undefined” and any text I add to the canvas doesn’t appear in the post.

Really digging this product, hopefully it’s an easy fix.

Thanks!

    Hi Luke Cassady-Dorion

This sounds like it could be a plugin conflict issue. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin/Black Studio plugins and see if this fixes the issue? If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

    Thanks

What's the best way to get both plugins working? Should I have them contact you?

    Hi Luke

Yes you can ask them to contact us through [email protected] in order to help make their plugin compatible with PageBuilder. The best way to contact them would be through their forums at http://support.wpsite.net/forums/forum/wp-popular-posts-pro/
