I’m looking for precisely the same thing as asked for here: siteorigin.com/thread/text-and-image-alignment/. I’m using the Vntage theme and tried inserting the bit of CSS you proposed in the other thread, to no avail. I have the new CSS editor plugin installed, and I tried playing with various parameters related to the image, again to no avail. Unfortunately my knowledge of CSS is too limited to really benefit from the tool.
Here’s my site: avec33.fr/
Any suggestion is welcome.
Thanks,

Hi Harvey
Please try adding the following to the Custom CSS Editor
Let us know how you get on

Hey, it’s Saturday. Time to take a break. Having salved my conscience, I can now respond.
The CSS worked very well, apart one detail — the effect was backwards from what I wanted. The text went left and the image right. So, I reversed the left and right parameters in the CSS and it worked like a charm.
As I looked at the result, I realized I needed padding between the image and the text. So, I thought to myself I’ll try the Custom CSS tool from SiteOrigin and it worked! I used the tool to put some padding to the right of the image. Clever tool — congrats!

Hi Harvey
Glad to hear you got it sorted, and thanks, we are all quite pleased with the reception the new plugin has had so far. Watch out for a load of new improvements in the near future.
