Post Carousel Widget for Sidebar not hyperlinking correctly

Hi,

I am trying to use the Post Carousel widget on my site’s sidebar and when I run the query, all of the Posts I want in the carousel show up, and I can use the buttons to scroll to the next ones, but when I hover my mouse over these in the Customize (live editor) it is displaying the wrong link for each. How do I correctly order these so that links and posts are corresponding? I need every Post in the Post Carousel widget to be linked to its designated post link. Can you help me with the steps to do this correctly? I have currently taken down that Widget since it doesn’t appear the right way. Post Carousel is working for a post query that only has one post, however. I think the issue is with multiple Posts in the query.

Thanks!
Meredith

    Hi Meredith

Please, could you create a test page and insert the Carousel widget and send us the link. We’ll take a look. Thanks.

    Hi,

It’s for placement in the sidebar so it’s not a page technically. The posts in the carousel are posts not pages just to be clear. Do they need to be pages? I want the widget to appear in the sidebar with the ability to hit the arrows to the different posts in the carousel. But here is a page with it:

    http://cecil.org/test-carousel-page/ — test page
    http://cecil.org — main site

    Thanks!

Thanks for your feedback, please, try running a test.

    1. Themes > Add New, search for Vantage.
    2. Install and activate. Test the test page. Is there any change?

We’re temporarily switching to a known theme to test if Sydney might be involved in the button issue.
