Plugin wont show in Page Builder

I was following the hello world example and could get it to stay active but the plugin widget is not showing in the page builder I was following the steps left by the previous developer as we have other custom widgets there but again its not showing. Is there something orther than clicking active I need to do to get it show in the add widget button in the page builder.
