Pitch theme abandoned?

Please update your Pitch theme. I would happily pay again for an update that made the theme responsive, so that my site could join the 21th century.
Either that or a suggestion for another responsive theme that still supports your custom meta data for projects and clients from the Pitch theme.

    Hi Studio Motljus

Pitch is still supported but it’s very unlikely that it will be further developed. Custom Post types are no longer allowed on the WordPress directory, this prevents us from easily updating Pitch. If you’re a premium user we can migrate your license across to Vantage: https://siteorigin.com/theme/vantage/ or any other theme you’d like to use, at no cost.

It’s possible to replicate the Pitch setup using the Page Builder Post Loop widget which can filter content by categories or tags.

Sorry I don’t have better news.

If it’s possible to migrate current projects to Vantage and still separate them from the blog entries and pages somehow, that would definitely solve a large portion of the problem.
    How do I proceed?

Vantage doesn’t have custom post types so you’d need to re-build that structure. Migration of that content setup wouldn’t be possible unfortunately.

The setup in Vantage is that your projects and blog posts would all be posts. You’d then use a Post Loop widget on your Blog page to pull your blog categories. Your portfolio or work page would also use a Post Loop widget but just pull the relevant work categories.

You could try this out by adding Vantage from Appearance > Themes > Add New and search for Vantage. My guess is that you’d need to re-build your project posts, but not your blog posts.
