Personnalize title, strips and problems with galeries with Snapshot Plus

Hello,

I am a novice on WordPress and I began to make my site, but I am blocked on several items which I do not know how to modify.

First of all, on the home page (acctually, on all the pages, but it is more visible on the home), I would like to:
– Eliminate the black strips (put them in white)
– Increase the size of the police of the title of the site

Then, I tried to create a galery with NextCellent Gallery, but I have several problems.

I would like:
– The galery to occupy all the space of the screen instead of staying only in the middle (I have already put 0 in the number of colones, which should give the maximum of colones that fit in the page)
– The thubnails to be well aligned in lines and colones (respecting the horizontal and vertical formats), without crop)
– Reduce the size of the title “Fauna “.

I increased the size of the thumbnails (I am satisfied with it) and I shot ” Fixed size – ignore the aspect ratio, so no portrait thumbnails. ” Because it seems that it is this option which crops the vertical photos.

I also downloaded Photospace Galery (which, according to what I understood, work with the galleries of WordPress) and created the same galery directly in WordPress, but I do not find it in my admin and that is farer from what I look for.

I intend to install and try NextGEN as well, but I do not know if that will solve my problems…

I already created a child DC but still have not change anything in Custom CSS. (I do not know how to do so)
