Page Builder + “WordPress Wysiwyg” instead of “Black Studio TinyMCE Widget”

First and foremost, “Page Builder” is great tool for rapid layout management on pages.

However, my team is unable to get “Page Builder” SiteOrigin Widgets to save updates to content while “Black Studio TinyMCE Widget” is activated.

This save problem includes SiteOrigin Widgets’ Image, Button, and plain Text.

Only when “Black Studio TinyMCE Widget” is deactivated do SiteOrigin Widgets work.

“WordPress WYSIWYG” is a solid editor and extension plugins are continually being added.

I am curious why “Black Studio TinyMCE Widget”?

Working now with SiteOrigin’s plain Text widget, my team does not have the functionality of “WordPress WYSIWYG” like add media, links, and visibility to other extension plugins.

To work around this problem, my team is editing on unpublished pages using “WordPress WYSIWYG”, and then copying it into SiteOrigin’s plain Text widget.

Other than that, great plugin.

Note: Our site is fully up-to-date WP 4.1, and using the latest Page Builders and SiteOrigin plugins, plus tried it with the latest “Black Studio”.

jeff00seattle — I have a similar problem, and only a few miles away. I also searched for the plugin you mention “WordPress WYSIWYG” and cannot find it. Can you supply the URL? Many thanks
