Page Builder problem with preview in draft mode

11 years ago · Last reply by Luke Cassady-Dorion 11 years ago

Hi

When using PageBuilder on a Post that is already Published, I have no problems. I can tweak it, update, and check out my changes as I go through them.

BUT when that post is still in Draft mode, I find that Preview doesn’t work. I make a change, click Update, then click Preview and the changes don’t appear. If I leave it alone and go get a coffee, stuff seems to update in 5-10 minutes. I am running WP Super Cache plugin, but I tried deactivating that and still see the problem.

Any other ideas?

Thanks

    Hi Luke

We have had some problems getting Page Builder to play nicely with the preview feature in the past. This was actually one of the main reasons for creating the live editor, which is part of Page Builder.

I haven’t heard about the issue you’re having before though. Would it be possible for me to check it out? If so, just create a temporary admin account using the email [email protected].

Hi, so yeah the Live Editor is a huge help, I hadn’t thought of that. But it doesn’t totally work as it doesn’t bring my full UI over.

I’ll setup an account for you, but how do I send the password? I don’t see an option to make this reply private. Or is it already private?

    Thanks!
