page builder allows me to edit widgets but then content disappears on page update

Hi, I am using version 2.1 and I have tried updating to 2.12 (both do not work). I have disabled every plugin except Black Studio TinyMCE Widget which is required. I am using the same theme (accesspress parallax pro version 1.11) that I have on another site. Everything is working there. The site that is not working is on Amazon web services. The other (same theme and plugins) is at a different host. I have also changed the theme to the 2015 while running the two plugins to make sure that the theme was not the problem, still can’t get page builder to work. It allows me to create a row, add a widget and content. i hit done and update and everything is gone. Please help me. Thanks.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Brian

Which browser are you using? It’s possible that this is a browser related issue.

Hi Greg, I have tried it in numerous browsers ( chrome, Firefox, and safari on a Mac). Thanks for asking. Have a good night.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Brian

Would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look? You can create the account with the following email address:

    [email protected]

Just navigate to Users > Add New in your WordPress admin. Enter siteorigin for the username and [email protected] for the email address. Make sure you’ve selected Administrator for the role and enabled the “Send Password” field so we receive the details.

Once we’re finished taking a look, you can delete this account. We’ll let you know when to do that.

Hi Greg, I have added you as a user as requested with admin privileges. You may see that it says that a plug-in called revolution slider is required to be activated ( for the theme, not really required). You may go ahead and activate it, it is just a slider. I have tried it with that activated and without. On the functioning site at a different host it is deactivated. You will see I think that there is an older version of page builder running. It is the same version that is running successfully on the same set up on a different site we have. I zipped that folder of the plugin from the other site and loaded the zipped plugin in this one so that I could get the matching version. I have tried it with both versions, the current one and the newest update, and I could not get either to work. The theme (Parallax Pro by accesspressthemes) as I mentioned is the same version that is working on another site. The only difference so far I can really come up with is that the site in development at this IP address is on Amazon Web services as opposed to the other one, which is on a more normal hosting set up. The other site has different content for a different company but that really does not matter that much. You may view that work in progress at http://www.clarecontrols.com/home–automation. I am not the administrator of the Amazon Web services but if you recommend changes, I can speak with somebody about that. Thank you in advance for your help, we truly appreciate it.

Greg, if you do not get the password email ( can't remember if box was checked to send to you) try lost password option, or I can create a new one also. Thank you. Brian
