Hi,
Built a VERY basic site locally. It still needs work, but it was adequate to go up live and work on it live.
Needed to delete old Joomla built site off of server first, done that.
Then uploaded WP site via FileZilla.
Now, the formatting seems to have gone a bit wrong, and some of the menus/options in WP Admin area are ‘hanging’ and don’t seem to be working problem e.g. PageBuilder.
I also can’t find Askimet plugin, although the folder etc is present.

Any ideas/advice?

Correction, wasn’t working on it locally, was working from a sub-folder

Hi You’ll need to move all the database data too. Did you do that? Try the duplicator plugin as suggested elsewhere here.

    Hiya,
I haven’t touched anything on the database side, didn’t realise I needed to when going from domain.com/sub to domain.com.
I’ll have a look at that plugin and see if it helps.
    Thanks
