Hello, I am trying to make a menu at the top of the page and have that menu direct to other pages when anything is clicked. I have made 3 new pages but when I click on their label in the menu it just says “page not found”. How do I get the pages to show?
Hi Jeremy
Head to Settings > Permalinks and opt for Post Name as your permalink structure, then hit Save. Next head to Appearance > Menus and ensure you have a custom menu added to the primary menu location with the pages you require.
Hopefully that’ll do the trick.
Unfortunately I tried that and it did not work. I’m at a complete loss here. No clue what to do to get the menu links to work.
Thanks for the feedback. You could additionally try some standard measures:
1. Run any pending updates at Dashboard > Updates.
2. De-activate all plugins, re-test, if the issue is resolved then re-activate plugins one by one, each time checking the problem.
If you still don’t find a resolution, please send through a link to your site.
