    I too am seeing this behavior after updating to 2.4.2. My menu is assigned, and prior to this update, it was showing:
    Menu is assigned:

    No menu showing:

    I am not using a child theme. There is custom CSS, but disabling this has had no affect on the display.

    I did some debugging and it’s due to this returning the string

    empty

    :

    siteorigin_setting( 'layout_menu' )

    Something must have changed in the way this returns.

    @Aaron,

    go into your Theme Settings -> Layout Tab Look for the setting ‘Masthead Menu’

    Odds are yours got rest to Empty Menu like mine did:

    I changed it to ‘Default Menu’ and all is back to normal.

    @cklosowski @Addo Resetting the menu in the Layout tab has fixed the issue, appreciate your help!
