Menu is oversized when the boxed layout is selected.

By tarab, 9 years ago. Last reply by Greg Priday, 9 years ago.

Good day,

When I have the boxed layout checked, the menu doesn’t resize with the rest of the layout. The site is contained in the box except the menu, it goes off both sides of the boxed section. I want to attach a screenshot since the site isn’t lie yet, but there’s no option to do so.

Also, there is a little, black phone now at the top, left portion of the screen. Please let me know how I can fix that as well. Thanks!

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi tarab,

We’d need to see some sort of live URL to start figuring out what’s happening. Something you can try do is remove any CSS customizations you might have made (either through a child theme or custom CSS editor). If that fixes the issue, then you can slowly start readding your customizations block by block to figure out what’s causing the issue.

Vantage itself doesn’t add a black phone icon. My only guess here is that’s coming from another theme or plugin you might have installed. You can follow a similar diagnosis path. Try disabling all your plugins, then reenable them one by one to try figure out which is the plugin that’s adding that icon.
