Menu color activated while viewing a submenu page

By Marta Santos, 9 years ago. Last reply by Braam Genis, 9 years ago.

Hi!
I’ve been working on this site: http://www.momowo.eu/, using the Vantage theme and I’d like for the red color on the menu pages to stay activated while I’m on a submenu page (example: I’d like the red color behind the PROJECT page to stay there while I’m viewing the AIM submenu page).

Can anyone give me a hand on that? I’ve tried everything and I can’t seem to make it work the way I want to… :(

Cheers!

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Marta

    You can use this custom CSS to style the current menu or page item:

    .main-navigation ul li.current-menu-item > a,
    .main-navigation ul li.current_page_item > a {
        background-color: #de091a;
    }
