Hey,
As several other people I would like to ask about folder support for the “Add Media” and “Choose Media” button.
Pressing the Add Media button pop’s up a dialog where you can upload media, select media, create gallery etc.
This dialog is usually modified by category plugins to make selecting an image without using the search function humanly possible.
The button “Choose Media” as seen on the Image Widget, Slider Widget etc. only allows you to upload images, and selecting images – which is kinda okay, but I haven’t used a plugin which actually modifies that dialog.
Could we just use the “Add Media” dialog?, maybe add some kind of error dialog, when using create gallery.. if its not possible
to filter it.
It would at the same time add support for Network Shared Media plugin. Maybe we could add a filter so we can make a
plugin which replaces that dialog.
btw. I’m just getting started with SiteOrigin, and it looks great! The editor interface is nicely styled compared to Visual Bakery and many others, I’m pretty excited about finally getting a polished WordPress experience.
Can’t really comment on functionality yet, but so far its good :)
Hi Lars

There are plugins that add this functionality to WordPress. You could start hunting around on https://wordpress.org/plugins. Page Builder is using the core WordPress Add Media functionality, adding folder support for the Media Library would be beyond the scope of what Page Builder is set up to do. Hope that makes sense :)

Hopefully, I’m following your question. Within Page Builder you can use the SiteOrigin Editor widget or the Visual Editor widget, powered by Black Studio TinyMCE plugin. Both have an Add Media button that’ll let you add a standard WordPress gallery.

Are you already using a Media Library organiser and saying that its controls aren’t appearing in the Add Media dialog within Page Builder?
