Hello all:
I am currently using the SO plugin on my page and its been working greatly. however, After adding about 40 buttons to my site the button plugin will not work… I am adding the buttons thru the widget button option but it doesn’t allow me to add more. Is there a possibility to increase the amount of buttons to be added to any site.. I am about 5 buttons short from what I need for my site and I hate to start over again using other plugin.
Thank you!
Hi
Are you adding buttons via Page Builder or via Appearance > Widgets?
Are all 40 on one page or in one widget area?
What happens after 40? Is there an error or is the additional button not saving?
Hi Andrew how are you!
Thank you for responding!
I am adding the buttons via appearance > Widgets. to the sidebar of my page.
There is 3 buttons per page and there are about 15 pages that I need to add the buttons to. However, every time I reach 39-40 buttons, the widget stops working. Once i set the parameters of the button; and press add, the widget never loads (the spinner never stops). Once i start deleting some previously created buttons the widget starts operating normally.
Thank you!
To answer to your question: Is there an error or is the additional button not saving?
THere’s no error… Its just not saving.
Sorry not initially asking this. Please can you head to Appearance > Widgets, try add that last button. Then open your browser’s developer tool and click over to the console, in Chrome here is how it’s done:
Opening Dev Tools: https://developer.chrome.com/devtools/index
Opening the Console: https://developer.chrome.com/devtools/docs/console
Are there any errors there? If so, please paste them here. Thanks!
[Error] Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 (Internal Server Error) (admin-ajax.php, line 0)
Thanks, not quite enough detail to see what’s going on from that error. Would you mind please sending a set of temporary login details and the url concerned to [email protected]?
Andrew:
I have sent you the email. I hope it works! :):)
Thank you for your support!
Thanks very much, I’ll check ASAP.
