Hi,

I’m trying translate my admin area of Pitch theme, I created a pitch-pt_BR.po with my language and put in languages folder, but my theme doesn’t translate. Could you help me? Am I doing something wrong?

Tks

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Andre

    Thanks for reaching out.

    Please check for me:

    1. Settings > General is your WordPress core language set to Brazilian Portuguese.
    2. Rename your translation file to:

    pt-BR.po

Do you also have a mo file available? If so name that:

    pt-BR.mo

Let us know if that helps :)

    Hi, I Work Here

    Correction, try naming your files:

    pt_BR.po
    pt_BR.mo

    Hello Andrew.

Thank you for your response. I read more about languages in wordpress and I found that I was putting files in wrong folder. The correct folder is /wp-content/languages/themes/ and my files name are pitch-pt_BR.mo and pitch-pt_BR.po

    Thanks.
