I have been trying to figure out how to change the images in the slider on the Influence theme.

But I can’t seem to follow it and make it work. Perhaps things have changed in the past year+?

I’ve done the following:

Appearance > Theme Settings > Set Home Slider to ‘Slider Widget’

Now the short code is set to [home_slider_widget]. Where do I upload my images?

I’ve gone to Appearance > Home Page, but I don’t want a completely custom home page. I want the exact same home page as stock, only with my own images instead of the stock slider.

I’m not sure what I’m missing, but the documentation is outdated as the titles and drop down menus don’t match up and I’m not sure which direction I need to go from here.

Below that setting, you should see a block asking you to install the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle plugin, or if you’ve already installed it, it’ll have the full widget building interface there for you. Can you see this block? It’s called “Home Slider.”

Hello Greg, same problem here, where do I place the shortcode [home_slider_widget] & then where can I upload my images. I can not seem to find ‘Home Slider’ in the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle plugin? It only has a image slider. Could you please guide us?
