Hi,

I’m using the SiteOrigin Page Builder on a custom wordpress template.

Is it possible to define a custom theme image size for the image of the slideshow? Cause it’s using the full image size.

I’ve seen in another post that I should be abble to do that in ” Appearance > Theme Settings > Slider “, but I don’t have that kind of settings.

Waiting for your reply.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hey Shed

Great to have you with us.

The SiteOrigin Slider Widget, unfortunately, doesn’t have size controls at this stage. It adheres to the size of the container it’s placed in.

You could perhaps try using CSS to target it’s containing div and set a max-width.

Thank you for the welcome and the fast answer.

It’s not a visual problem cause I can easily manage image width and height with css as you said.

It’s a matter of optimisation. Sad this function doesn’t exist cause while it’s me I can resize image before upload but my client won’t do it correctly.

    Hi, I Work Here

Ahh right, totally valid request. I chatted with Greg and Braam now. Unfortunately, at the moment there is no good way of doing this. We really appreciate the feedback; I’ll log this as a feature request shortly. Sorry we don’t have more to offer on this at the moment. What about using Meta Slider plugin? Their widget should work in Page Builder without any problems.
