How to use post image instead of featured image

Hello, I am using Activello theme and thought that with Site Origin Css I would be able to solve this problem. I want the featured image of blog posts to only show in the slider. For the blog excerpts below, I would like the images in my post to show up. Is there a way to customize when I want featured images to show and when I want the others to show?
