How to Reduce slider width in page

Hi Andrew,

Im a first timer i read a few of your post and like to say good job man…

Ok so i am tryna build a wordpress site and i cant get the slider to reduce on page meaning it stretches the full width of the page. I tried adjusting the meta slider pixlation sizes and no matter what i do it only manipulates the height of the slider but never the width and the height that does change trims the pic.. the current slider dimension im using is 600 x 200 and the pics are 2560 x 1440 im trying to get it looking kinda like this site dimensions wise and look of slider and page body i mean…
For reasons im sure youd understand id rather not publicize the site as yet as it isnt ready. but i could email it no prob. so just tell me where to send it…
