How to format text inside the “Text” widget

I added the widget “Text (arbitrary text or HTML)” to a page. I pasted several paragraphs of text into it. When I look at it in the Visual Editor I see the correct paragraphs. But when I publish it all the words run together with no formatting.

Can I format text inside “site builder” widgets?

I’m using Evolve 3.03 theme.

    Hi Ron

This is perhaps the most useful Page Builder supporting plugin you can use: http://wordpress.org/plugins/black-studio-tinymce-widget/. Once installed you can insert the Visual Editor widget into Page Builder. It’ll give you all the usual formatting options. Also great for inserting images and other media.

I installed the plug-in you suggested, and activated it. I don’t see any change in what I’m able to do with formatting in a Text box. My goal is to create a page with a 3-column format. I’ve tried pasting in a Word table and the text moves around in the table cells, not aligned at the top of each cell.

Once Black Studio TinyMCE is installed you’d need to insert a widget called Visual Editor. There won’t be any changes to existing Text widgets in Page Builder.

Creating column layouts in Page Builder is unfortunately a functionality we don’t yet have in Page Builder or any of our widgets just yet. It’s possible there might be a plugin that can help with this. I don’t know of one at this stage though.
