Is there a php code I can insert into my category template to show masonry instead of the “normal” content?
Hi Ovidiu
Unfortunately not, the Masonry widget is only packaged in widget format at the moment. What you could do is manually create your own category pages. The Masonry widget has a field at the end called Additional, in that field you can add an argument as follows:
Where x is the category ID you’d like to filter. You can also comma separate and add multiple ID’s To get a category ID, go to Posts > Categories and click on a category name, then view the url, the ID will be the only number in the url.
(You can also put a minus sign in front of ID’s to exclude them.
Hope that helps.
Thanks, I’ve sorted this out already by creating my own category.php template and inserting an extra sidebar there so I can place your masonry widget there into the content, example: http://pacura.ru/category/cityscapes/
Hi Andrew,
I tried replying to the thread but my reply disappeared. Have I been spammed?
