Can’t seem to find a way of editing my home page. Have tried various ways by following instructions on the forums and support docs but it doesn’t appear in any of the drop down menus via Appearance > widgets or the edit page drop down menu. I must have done something as it is as if the home page is not set. Can I re-set a page as my home page?
Hi Mark
The Focus home page is unfortunately not an editable part of the theme. To get it functioning like the demo your posts need featured images added. There are slider options available at Appearance > Theme Settings.
Thank you. Does this mean I can’t change the dimensions of the header? Basically I am trying to get my front page to look something like your great looking demo with the slider and thumb nails to videos below. Is this possible on the basic Focus theme?
Thanks again for your prompt reply.
If each of your posts have a featured image added: http://en.support.wordpress.com/featured-images/ your home page should come together on it’s own. Just make sure no home page is selected under Settings > Reading.
Let me know how you come along.
