Hero Image Cut Off

Hello!

I’m having trouble getting the image in the hero image widget to show the whole picture, each one I upload ends up showing only the top half of the picture. I haven’t been able to find any solutions from reading previous forum questions. I’m new to this but my site isn’t launched yet so I can’t send a link.. a bit nervous about CSS.

Besides my current confusion, I am enjoying the widget bundle / page builder, it’s making things so much easier! Thanks!! I use the Syndey Theme.
