I set up our SiteOrigin Google Maps widget to display on our contact us page. The map shows the general area of our location, but there’s no marker. I tried the default marker setting and uploading a custom image for the marker – nothing. Our site is on our hosting account and live, but not yet accessible to public view, could this be causing the issue when we preview the page?

This sounds like it could be a plugin conflict issue. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.
Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
The basic idea with this testing is to remove as much as possible from WordPress, if the issue resolves we then slowly add items back until it breaks again. Let us know how it goes :)
