FTTP 500 error with plugin

I am really a novice at this WordPress web site builder. I am using IX web hosting; I have downloaded the Tesseract theme, and loading the plugins that they are asking for. One plugin they request is the page builder, and when I try to activate it in my wordpress, instead of retuning back to the wordpress page it shows a FTTP 500 error message. Only after I delete this plugin from my IX server using the web shell does my control panel come back.

I can look for a replacement page builder, but I am following a video step by step and just trying to get through that. I can’t imagine trying to use a different plugin, plus I have read reams about how wonderful this plugin you have created is.
