Floating Widget Boxes

Need some help.

On the homepage for a site I am working on I want to have the MetaSlider the full size of the page (below the menu). On top of the Slider – I need 3 static widget boxes. These boxes will stay constant and not change during the slider rotation. In these boxes I need to have 2 of them running the Recent Post Widget and on the 3rd the text widget. I would like the boxes to have a solid white background.

The site below is running exactly the same layout I am referring to.

Any ideas ?
