I have an issue with the Contact Form widget and the Email field. When a user submits a form, the email they type in the Email field is not included in the message received.
So, I attempted to delete the Email field and just label a text field as “Email” but the form rejects the submission as invalid, saying “A valid email is required.”
Any advice? If I can’t see the submitter’s email, how am I supposed to respond to them? The only solution is to have them enter their email twice, once in an ‘Email’ field, and once in a ‘Text’ field.
I haven’t run into that problem myself, the email address doesn’t show up in the email sent to me, but when replying the email is there. Hmmmm
