Hey everyone!
New to the tools here, so bare with me. I’m using the Vantage theme and the CSS Editor plugin to throw together a prototype website for my robotics team.
When I open up the custom css menu, under Appearance, I click on a part of my homepage, and edit the color. It appears in the live preview. When I click Save CSS, it successfully saves. I return to my home page, and nothing has changed. Is there some place that I must select the custom CSS for the page, other than in the plugin?
If you need bits of my code, a link to the site, or a screenshot of something, just let me know.
Thanks!
Hi Izz
Welcome to the wonderful world of SiteOrigin :)
If you’ve made a change in the custom CSS editor and hit save, then you should be able to see the changes on the frontend of your site. The only thing I can think of is that a caching plugin is caching the old version of the page (without the custom CSS). Do you have any caching plugins installed? Also, could you try clearing your browser cache.
Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on? If you need to keep this URL private from other users, just select “Private Reply” on the bottom right of the comment box.
I don’t have a caching plugin installed, but it seems to be loading now. Maybe firefox was being funny.
I’ve got another issue though, and I’m starting a new thread now.
Hi Izz
