When I try to navigate to my subdomain site view it goes to a http:// address rather than the correct https:// -consequently I just get a blank screen.

It is not possible to edit the address so I am stuck.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Brian

    Thanks for reaching out.

If you’re working on a multi-site install, try going to the main admin sites section and confirm that the URL for the site is https.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Thanks for checking.

Try using a plugin like Really Simple SSL which is multi-site compatible https://wordpress.org/plugins/really-simple-ssl/. That can help to ensure all of your URL’s are correctly assigned.

It’s unlikely but it is possible to get locked out when using Really Simple SSL, in that event, follow these instructions to remove the plugin https://really-simple-ssl.com/knowledge-base/uninstall-websitebackend-not-accessible/.
