hi,
is the siteorigin css plug in meant only for selected themes? i am using shape5 prestige academy theme and installed siteorigin css, it does not show the inspector on the bottom of the screen. Is there any workaround?
Hi Anupama
Thanks for reaching out.
When initiall loading Appearance > Custom CSS, did you click the “eye” icon at the top right?
hi Andrew,
Yes, I clicked the eye at the top right of the Custom CSS under Appearance. As soon as I click the eye, the browser page loads the site to the right and a CSS panel to the left where there are options to change CSS text color, font size etc, but the CSS inspector which is usually seen at the bottom of the browser does not get loaded.
thanks
Anupama
also i would to add a point, when i right click on the browser and do an inspect, i get the following error in editor.js
“No inspector to highlight with”
Mmm! Ok, with you now. Would you mind running some basic troubleshooting steps for us?
1. Dashboard > Updates: Run all pending updates. Re-test.
2. Temporarily de-activate all non-SiteOrigin plugins. Re-test.
3. If step 2 fixes the issue, re-activate your plugins one by one, running a test on the CSS plugin after each re-activation.
Thanks :)
