The left part of the editor is chopped to a point that I cant see the first three characters. The code looks like this:
.page-id-2137 #site-title { display: none; }
But in the editor looks like this:
ge-id-2137 #site-title { play: none;
The cursor moves out of view so I know the characters are there but this is highly annoying. Doesn’t matter if uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin or whether I am full screen or not. Its the same no matter what theme as well. Any help is welcomed.
Hi Steve
This sounds like it could be a plugin conflict issue. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.
Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
Hi Andrew,
strange – since yesterday I’m having the same issue :O When you refresh the page, you’ll see that all the text is there but then it is moved further to the left.
I disabled the plugins I installed since then, but that didn’t help. Giving the CodeMirror-sizer moves the missing letters into view, they are hidden behind a left column of the Code Mirror, which could be for line numbers?

I had also done the same but had not got back to SiteOrigin yet. I didn't have many plugins to begin with but disabling what I had didn't resolve the issue. I have resorted to directly modifying my main CSS file.
Sorry Steve, deleted my last, your thread :)
SiteOrigin CSS can run into JavaScript conflicts. If you’re ruled out a plugin conflict then the next test to run is to test with a default WordPress theme like Twenty Fifteen activated. Let me know how that goes.
Remember, all WordPress.org themes completely overwrite their own folder during updates so any changes made to the parent theme files will be lost on update.
