Contact 7 Form Box Not Conforming to Theme…

So I’m using Contact 7 on our small charity website and the custom field for a telephone number isn’t displaying the same as the other fields, now according to the FAQ on the Contact 7 site this is because the type attribute isn’t included in the theme and needs to be added like this

input[type="tel"]

now previously I did this by adding it directly in the theme editor which of course is a bad idea however how would I add it with the custom css option?

    Hi Carl

    Sorry for the late reply here. From what I understand, they’re saying that if you want to customize the look and feel of the telephone field, then that’s the selector you’d use.

    In this case, you’d probably want to add the selector into a custom CSS editor. Like this one.
