Comments to individual posts not working on my blog page

By Mimi Roberts, 9 years ago. Last reply by Mimi Roberts, 9 years ago.

I am having trouble getting my blog post page on my website to show comments/posts. I have inserted the More Tag, but then when you click “Continue Reading” it takes you to another page on my site rather than the full post with comments section. So I tried a few other things and now I cannot get the More Tag to even show up. Very frustrated. The theme is great so I don’t want to switch. Just want to be able to get viewers to be able to post to the blog page. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Mimi,

Sorry for the late reply here. Are you by any chance using Page Builder to create your blog posts?

When you say the continue reading button is linking to another page, which page is it linking to?

Hopefully, I’ll be able to help you out once I have a clearer idea of what’s going on :)

    Hi Greg.

This got lost in my junk mail, and so excuse my late reply. Thank you for getting back to me. I am still having the problem and it is not resolved. I changed it back to full blog post because I didn't want it to work faulty for people to my site. I need to have people be able to comment so the blog is interactive.

When I had the Continue Reading button on the post displayed, it would link to the page on my site titled The Book rather to the rest of the blog post and a comments section. I did build it in page builder through wordpress.

I haven't found any solution. I've tried everything I can think of and spent a lot of time reading other threads of this problem and following that advice as well.

I really like the Vantage theme. I don't want to upgrade until I know everything is working well and I am going to keep it. I hate to change it, but my blog on the site is really important and I need to get it working. I just had the book published, and so I am missing out on having a working blog. Any advice would be so appreciated.
