Chopped off widget option-boxes

Hi PO! I’ve just been playing around with your ingenious plugin and am very impressed, both with the idea and the execution of it:) However… a little bug chops off the lower half of the ‘widget edit boxes’. That is to say the boxes that pop up after I choose a widget to insert from the Add New Widget-window. For example, when I choose the Edit Embedded Video (PB) Widget, I only see the upper half of the URL input-field. I don’t know of course, if there are more options ‘hiding’ under the point where the box is cut off. If not, the ‘cutoff’ isn’t a huge problem, as I can still click the visible (upper-) half of the input-field and insert the URL. Still looks a bit weird, though…

Just thought I’d let you know:)

Kim

    Hi Kim

I’m trying to visualize what’s happening here. Would it be possible for you to take a screenshot and post them here. That kind of reminds me that I really need to add a way to add image attachments in these forums (they’re a work in progress). In the mean time, you could use something like Screencast

Hi Greg, and thanks for taking the time to answer my question! Because of the hickup I described earlier I deactivated the plugin, but activated it again just now to take a few screenshots, and, guess what, the bug has mysteriously disappeared… I’ll let you know if it crops up again, and yes, it probably would be a good idea to add image attachment capabilities to the forum when you have the time. In this case, it would have meant you would’ve already had your screenshots;)

    Best, Kim

Glad to hear the issue sorted itself. My guess is that it was a plugin conflict issue. So it’s possible that in the interim you disabled the plugin that was causing problems. These sort of issues are very difficult for us to fix, but if it ever comes up again you can use the following guide to identify which plugin is causing the issue.

    https://siteorigin.com/troubleshooting/identifying-plugin-conflicts/

And from there, I’ll be able to test things out myself and try fix it up.

Yes, I have been tidying up my plugin-library, so it makes sense that’s the reason why things corrected themselves. If the symptoms return I’ll run the plugin-test and let you know the results:)

    Best,

    Kim

      Hi Ryan

That looks like another plugin is adding some of its own CSS that’s interfering with Page Builder. You should be able to follow the same plugin guide that I posted for Kim. If you need more help, can you post a new thread? Kim will be receiving new reply notifications on this thread so it’s best to keep things separate.
