Hello there .. I am using smooththemes currently and would like to change to Origin.
If I download Origin – can I easily configure to Origin – or do I have to build a new site again?

Not having used the theme you’re running before, it’s very hard to say. If the theme makes use of Custom Post Types then yes, there will be a lot of re-building required.
You can download our Vantage theme from Appearance > Themes > Add New (search for Vantage). Give it a try and see how things look.
