Changing the background to my blog page in Tesseract

I am using the Tessaract theme for my website. I have added a background image and on each individual page I have added a lighter colored background to the text so that the text is viewable without the background showing through. However on the blog page, I cannot seem to do that. I am unable to view anything on the blog page because the text fades into the background. How do I change this on the blog page so I can read the text?

    Hi Bret

Thanks for reaching out. We’re not the authors of Tesseract. I’m not quite sure where Tyler is handling support for this theme. Perhaps there was a link available when you downloaded the theme?

Easy Google Fonts is causing the problem on your Blog page. The maroon color is being set from that plugin and the reason your text isn’t readable.

Hope this helps get you started.

If anything SiteOrigin plugin related comes up, please, let us know.

    All the best :)
