First, Greg from SiteOrigin is my new best friend. I read the forum and I’m sure, ALL the posts about changing font sizes in both the free and premium version. I tried using the Custom CSS plugin and still didn’t ‘get’ it, till I found the tutorial Greg made for us here: https://siteorigin.com/css/getting-started/ Just follow along guys and do it! Use the ‘live’ option and magic happens. THANK YOU!!
One thing I’m still confused on even after looking at the WordPress Codex: I would like to add the font called Colaborate https://www.fontsquirrel.com/fonts/Colaborate to use in the body and widget content. I’m not understanding how to do that in the Custom CSS like was suggested to someone else. I have used WordPress for years and Vantage, even the free version, is so far my FAV theme. I don’t care if that sounds like I’m butt kissing. lol
You are just far too kind Resmyrranda! I can always use more friends :)
So adding a custom font is a slightly more complex operation. One that you’ll probably need to do in pure CSS, rather than using the visual editor component of SiteOrigin CSS (unless, of course, you’re using SiteOrigin Premium, which lets you work with Google Web Fonts from right inside the visual editor).
So from the looks of things, with Font Squirrel, you actually need to use a custom Font Face. This is slightly more complicated than using fonts from somewhere like Google Web Fonts, but it’s still possible. Here are some general CSS instructions on how to do it.

My recommendation would be to try find a suitable font on Google Web Fonts. This will make your life a little easier.
I may sound giddy but sincere, nonetheless:) After having a look at Google Web Fonts, I spotted one that did the job. All I wanted really was a clean minimalistic one since I’m already using a ‘fancy’ one for the headers. Then I realized it was already in the list, so, job done! I guess its all about who you know.;)
