Button linked to mp3 file

Hi,

I am teaching a language online, and would like to have some pictures on a page, that when clicked on, they play a mp3 file in the media library (without opening a new window).

For instance, an image with a cat. When you click on it, it says “cat”.

How can I do that ?

Thank you in advance.

    Hi Nat

I can’t think of a perfect solution that what you’re after. But I can tell you how I’d implement this.

I’d just use an embedded YouTube video, or a hosted service like Wistia. That way you could display the cat image as the video thumbnail, then when the user presses play, they’ll see the video which is just a static image and the word cat.

The only other option I can think of is to have a custom coded plugin made. This might work out being quite expensive though. If you want to go this route, we recommend Codeable.
